Dr. Bill Boyd is a licensed psychologist who enjoys an excellent reputation. For many years, he has helped individuals, couples, families and groups achieve healing and personal goals. Bill holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Fielding Graduate Institute. As a Licensed Psychologist, he holds Diplomate status with both the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists and also the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. In addition to being a member of the American Psychological Association, Dr. Boyd has served as past President of the Chattanooga Area Psychological Association. He is a popular informational and motivational speaker. Bill has been a newspaper columnist and also co-host of a popular local television program addressing family issues.

Dr. Boyd understands the challenges we face. His youth included a public school education, participation in athletics and instrumental music, and his share of academic challenges. Bill worked his way through college, with jobs in assembly plants, grocery stores, and Boy Scout Camps. He then spent several years in job placement counseling and aptitude testing. Dr. Boyd has personally come face to face with many of life’s difficulties, including grief, financial difficulty, setbacks and failures. Because he found ways to overcome these barriers and achieve personal healing, learning and growth, he is effective in helping others do the same.

Bill emphasizes wellness through a balance of physical, mental, spiritual, social and emotional health.
